Risk Disclosures

Version 0.1-beta · Effective 2026-09-08

Rhizome is an experimental software project that provides a non-custodial interface for interacting with autonomous smart contracts on Rootstock.

Digital assets and permissionless finance involve substantial risk, including partial or total loss. You should interact only after independently evaluating whether those risks are appropriate for you.

Principal risks

  • Smart contracts may contain defects, vulnerabilities, or unexpected behavior.
  • Oracle, token, bridge, wallet, network, RPC, indexer, and third-party service failures may cause loss, display incorrect information, or prevent access.
  • Prices, liquidity, interest rates, collateral requirements, and transaction costs may change rapidly.
  • Borrowing positions may be liquidated when they no longer meet protocol requirements.
  • Supplied or deposited assets may become temporarily or permanently unavailable.
  • Tokens may lose value, become illiquid, depeg, or behave differently from their stated design.
  • Transactions may fail, be delayed, execute at unexpected prices, or be irreversible.
  • Displayed balances, rates, positions, and historical data may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect.
  • Regulatory or legal developments may restrict access to the interface or affect underlying assets and protocols.
  • Experimental software may be changed, suspended, or discontinued.

Always verify transaction details in your wallet before signing. You remain responsible for deciding whether an interaction is appropriate for you.
